DRAX, Korea’s No. 1 fitness brand, held a creation briefing for the digital fitness platform AI ‘RAX,’ which will lead the next-generation fitness trend, on April 2nd at Hotel Paradise City in Jung-gu, Incheon.

This creation briefing was organized for prospective start-ups hoping to create a future digital fitness center based on ‘RAX,’ DRAX’s new AI. ‘RAX’ was developed by DRAX using AI technology and big data and is a digital fitness platform that provides personalized exercise programs, presenting a new experience in the fitness life.

AI ‘RAX’ provides exercise programs optimized for individual goals by analyzing the user’s physical condition once the user inputs their basic information, such as age, weight, and height, and sets their health care goals. The user will exercise with the equipment integrated with IoT, including a sensing function of the exercise content. When the user exercises, it will suggest exercise programs that are more accurately personalized based on the user’s exercise data collected regularly through the cloud server and will send this information to the equipment integrated with IoT so that the user can engage in a more suitable exercise more effectively according to scientific guides. In addition, the user can conveniently check their physical condition and changes whenever and wherever through the ‘DRAX Fit’ app linked with the platform. Currently, ‘RAX’ focuses on comprehensive health care and improvement in health conditions, but in the future, other programs that focus on specialized goals, such as diabetes, rehabilitation, and dieting, will be added.

At the briefing, DRAX emphasized that ‘RAX’ can create a win-win effect for fitness center members, trainers, and operators, providing an effective exercising effect and a new profit structure. Members who felt burdened to use personal training services due to their cost at existing fitness centers can receive professional fitness training at a reasonable price, while trainers can eliminate members’ psychological barriers to personal training and manage more members over the same time. Fitness center operators can step away from the existing profit system that depends only on trainers as ‘RAX’ will help resolve problems with human resources, improve the center’s expertise, and create diverse profit models. In addition, founders of new businesses who have difficulty maintaining service quality and establishing center operations can use ‘RAX’ to operate the center with more stability.

DRAX offers a partnership support program that supports fitness equipment and interior rent costs according to the founder’s credit rating when starting a fitness center with the ‘RAX’ system. It will also develop certification education projects and trainer development projects necessary for starting a fitness center to strengthen the founders’ expertise.
