The 2022 Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Show, which came back after three years with its largest scale, ended successfully. More than 170 brands participated and introduced new products as daily health care and immunity improvement have drawn a lot of attention since the pandemic, and the home training and outdoor markets have grown rapidly. DRAX also participated in SPOEX 2022 with its greatest scale. As soon as you entered the exhibition hall, you could see DRAX’s various equipment and demonstrations by professional coaches.

Experience new products! Demonstration events and customer experience
If you came to the DRAX Pavilion, you would have seen various products you wanted to see in person to directly test out, such as DRAX’s best-sellers and new products.
Stair Climber, the most popular cardio exercise equipment recently, was located at the front of the exhibition hall, making it easier for visitors to check out. In addition, anyone could freely test out Power Tower, the best full-body exercise equipment, and the weight equipment, such as Pure Plate series, Welliv Pro, and Kaiser products, and listen to explanations from professional coaches to clearly understand the characteristics of each equipment.
DRAX’s exercise equipment has excellent quality with an ergonomic design and a one-stop product line. If you’ve never tried the equipment in person, it wouldn’t be easy to understand and feel its quality fully, so this year’s SPOEX was a great opportunity for customers to experience DRAX’s exercise equipment first-hand. In addition to customer experience, professional coaches demonstrated the exercise equipment during the event, sharing how to exercise more effectively and use each equipment properly.
You can exercise your entire body, upper body, or lower body with Power Tower, a full-body exercise equipment, by adjusting the handle’s location. The coaches demonstrated and explained this advantage to help visitors understand easily. On one side of the exhibition hall, DRAX held a demonstration of The Ride using Kaiser bikes, an exercise equipment for professional athletes, and a customer experience event.
With Kaiser indoor bikes, you can exercise more professionally and thoroughly due to the ‘WATT’ indicator that shows your exercise amount per hour. The Ride, which uses Kaiser bikes, has Kaiser trainers who coach how to enjoy exercising indoors.
During the SPOEX period, a Korean coach used a video of Kaiser’s The Ride to guide visitors on exercising. If you exercise according to the coach’s instructions, you can exercise without even knowing that time has passed.
Time to meet DRAX’s future, DRAX Night & HiRAX
On the first evening of SPOEX, DRAX shared its future plans through DRAX Night. DRAX aims to expand its business to develop and popularize the fitness market and launched ‘HiRAX’ at SPOEX as part of this plan.
HiRAX, an AI digital fitness solution, aims to present a new growth engine in the current fitness market and create an environment where anyone can enjoy fitness daily by increasing the exercising population and fitness centers. DRAX’s high-quality exercise equipment, self-designed and produced by DRAX, is connected as one through ‘DRAXFit’, the digital fitness platform. The AI RAX presents a customized exercise program for users and displays it through DRAXFit on monitors of all exercise equipment or kiosks.
The AI RAX learns and analyzes all your exercise records, from cardio to weight training and stretching, updates a suitable exercise plan, and presents it to the user.
A HiRAX experience booth was set up on one side of the DRAX Pavilion for visitors to learn and experience the system. Many people who experienced HiRAX were surprised and displayed high anticipation for future possibilities.
Meanwhile, this year’s DRAX Championship was introduced at DRAX Night. It was a time to review last year’s DRAX Championship and share future plans and operational policies.
An explosion of sweat and excitement! DRAX Power Up Race
On one side of the DRAX Pavilion, Power Up Fitness Race, organized by K BOX RISE, was held during the SPOEX period. The DRAX Power Up Race consisted of three races: Power Up Cardio Race, Power Up Fitness Race, and My Mountain Race.
The Power Up Cardio Race was a co-ed competition based on who could run 1.5km the fastest on the DRAX non-motorized treadmill, DRAXFit+, held on February 18 (Friday). Unlike ordinary treadmills, DRAXFit+ requires more energy because you run by rolling the running pad with your own strength. If you test it out first-hand, you’ll feel that it’s much harder.
Many visitors came on the weekend, and DRAX held the Power Up Fitness Race and the My Mountain Race that visitors could participate immediately on the spot.
The Power Up Fitness Race, which was based on pre-application, was held in teams of men’s and women’s pairs, and the ranks were determined by the record for completing the three events: RUN, THRUSTER, and ROPE CLIMB. It was a time when we could feel the participants’ excitement as they challenged their limits.
The My Mountain Race was inspired by the ‘My Mountain Challenge,’ which was popular last year, and a competition to see who could ride the longest to match the conditions of the popular challenge.
It was an opportunity for visitors to experience the challenge that they had only seen online first-hand, so it drew a lot of interest.
SPOEX, which reopened after three years, was the largest ever, and DRAX participated with the greatest scale and events. It was an opportunity to meet many customers, share various products, and introduce the newly launched HiRAX to the public.
