01 Apr First Sports Industry Leading Company Promotion Project Ended, DRAX won the MCST Minister’s Award

Since 2018, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MCST) has been working with the National Sports Promotion Corporation for a three-year promotion project to help sports companies with excellent capabilities in entering the global market. A total of 10 selected companies performed their duties as the first sports industry leading companies until 2020.

This three-year project consisted of strengthening corporate diagnosis and capabilities, creating a foundation for overseas market expansion, and growing as a global brand. These three tasks provided an opportunity to gain a position in the global market.

On March 5, the graduation ceremony of companies that successfully carried out the project was held on a minimum scale to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

In commemoration of the graduation, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism presented a certificate plaque to the first sports industry leading companies. CEO Yoo Sun-kyung received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism commendation award since DRAX achieved the most outstanding results among them. Through this sports industry leading company promotion project, DRAX has established our position as the No. 1 fitness brand in Korea and further promoted ourselves in the global fitness market.
