09 Mar Meeting DRAX at SPOEX 2021
Last February 18th, Seoul International Sports & Leisure Industry Show 2021 (SPOEX 2021) was held at COEX. Unlike the previous years, this year’s exhibition was organized in the form of combining online and offline in order to adhere to the quarantine rules for COVID-19. Though the offline attendance was limited and minimized, visitors could look around the place using Naver Shopping Live. Also, many influencers specialized in different types of workouts visited each brand booth to answer viewers’ inquiries through their YouTube and Instagram channels.
DRAX at Korea’s biggest sporting goods exhibition, ‘SPOEX 2021’
DRAX had participated in the SPOEX every year to arrange an opportunity to introduce its products to consumers. Although the exhibition size for this year was reduced, visitors could get a detailed description of each product one on one and also provided a virtual place for the online visitors to see the products up close.
Among many visitors, so many influencers specialized in health and working out had especially paid more visits to DRAX’s booth. From the former soccer player Hyung Il Kim and bodybuilder Kang Min Kim to ABC Crossfit’s master coach Sung Hyun Koh, many have visited the DRAX booth for an interview and to experience DRAX equipment and DRAXfit system.
YouTuber <HellChangTV>, who anyone who enjoys working out would easily recognize, has also paid a visit to the booth and had a showdown of ‘who endures longer on My Mountain’ with guests of the channel for his video.
DRAX presented ‘DRAXfit’, a digital platform that takes a center stage in this virtual contactless era, as the main product of the exhibition. The experience was organized by connecting DRAX Mymountain, Elliptical, Seated Row, and SynergyAir Power Tower series to the DRAXfit system. Through the DRAXfit system, it demonstrated how consumers could have a one-stop-shop experience starting from entering the gym to suggesting a workout routine and ex post facto management and drew many people’s attention.
The newly introduced ‘DRAX Pure Plate’
At the exhibition, DRAX also introduced one of its new strenght equipment ‘Pure Plate’s first lower body training equipment ‘The V Squat machine’. Unlike the previous workout equipment, Pure Plate is ergonomically designed to specifically increase the workout effect of the desired parts of the muscle. Those who got to experience the equipment on site were highly satisfied with the outcome.
Although it was sad that not many people could join us at the exhibition due to the pandemic, DRAX will make sure to continuously develop and introduce better workout equipment. We also hope that we could have more people visit our booth on-site and have a chance to talk about our products.
